What do we have in common? We want connection and belonging. We have a desire for a greater sense of fulfillment. We want to trust that we’re moving in the right direction.
When we trust in the knowing of who we are, we emanate abundance as we feel: valuable, lovable, and worthy. Who doesn’t want to feel that way?
In this article, I cannot give you the top 6 things to do or main tenants to achieve this feeling, but rather examples of the ways of being you can embody to meet each forever-changing moment and trust in yourself in each moment to choose the actions for the highest outcome of all.
To live abundantly is a truly courageous act. It is to love oneself wholeheartedly and unwaveringly trust in the Divine nature of your being. It is to embody kindness. Kindness is to love and be compassionate to all parts of yourself, to witness yourself in this way in all moments.
Willingness is key. If there is a heart-felt intention, your actions will align to it.
The journey to realizing and maintaining these ways of being is not for the faint of heart, it is a life-long undertaking requiring your full devotion and steadfast awareness to continue to expand into your fullest Self, your loving essence.
How you view and interact with life in its many facets and forms will determine your experience. This is to have relationships, to relate to all the life around you.
Rules to live by:
- Always act from a place of abundance.
- Always choose to meet, explore and expand past your edges/discomfort.
- Always trust the choice you make is the best decision for you at that time.
Let’s take a look at these one-by-one…
Always act from a place of abundance.
Your overflow is what connects you to others and creates an open invitation to heartfelt relating. It says, I care, about myself, about you, about the higher good. It says, I understand and acknowledge your humanness too. It says I see you, and I don’t want anything from you.
Be mindful of what you are full of. Do not mistake hoarding things for fullness, for that is an act from the place of lack or not enoughness. If you are full with things, this is ok, but know it’s not the things themselves, it’s the meaning you attribute to them that make them what they are to you.
What is your relationship to the “things” that make you feel abundant?
To live in a state of abundance is to be of service to all, your overflow brings them the gift of seeing their own abundance.
The expansive significance of abundance is to realize you already contain all the things you might have been seeking outside yourself – whether it be love, affection, acknowledgment, understanding, acceptance, validation, nurturing relationships, excitement, adventure, stability, safety, etc.
Always choose to meet, explore and expand past your edges/discomfort.
If you are aware of your edge in each moment, you will come to know that it changes from moment to moment. If you are listening to your body and how it feels in relationship to your thoughts, feelings, and environment, then you are truly present with yourself and can access the Direct Knowing of highest good in each moment.
This doesn’t mean perpetually expand, without contraction. Sometimes the opportunity to contract and go deep within is your edge of discomfort, go there. That’s the place of vulnerability and the true communication with the Self that allows the expansion to take place.
True growth does not come from effort and exerting one’s own will, it comes from surrendering to what’s present and loving that. You will know your edges when the permission to be fully in your body and feel is granted.
Always trust the choice you make is the best decision for you at that time.
Abundance is knowing with certainty that you are enough, for the mere fact that you exist. It is truly a gift for this breath of life to choose you to move through. Trust you have been chosen to experience all this magic, you cannot go wrong.
Any challenge you may endure or “mistake” you think you make does not take aware or lessen your worth. Nothing you can do or say will ever change that you are given this amazing gift of life.
Only you know what is best for you in each moment. It takes deep communication with the Self to choose accordingly. You can trust that no matter what you choose, it will lead you to another opportunity that will support you in more deeply stepping into your most authentic self. And that will lead you to another, and another, so you can never make a “wrong choice”.
I just love this quote from Barbara Marciniak:
“Everything changes when you start to emit your own frequency rather than absorbing the frequencies around you, when you start imprinting your intent on the universe rather than receiving an imprint from existence.”
Abundance is the permeating joy that flourishes from having experienced life: It is being loving and affectionate with yourself, validating yourself, having a nurturing relationship with yourself, having adventures with yourself, feeling safe within yourself. This is true freedom. Here you release any sense of porousness, and easily maintain a sense of fullness – an abundance that overflows onto everything that is blessed to cross your path.
Abundance is living in unconditional loving, for you do not seek anything from others, or fear that anything can be taken from you, and own nothing but your own sense of knowing in each moment.
